Hickory smoked salt is created when delicate Pacific sea salt flakes are naturally smoked with untreated hickory wood, resulting in a clean, smoked flavor without turning bitter. It goes wonderful with, and enhances the flavor of, any southern or barbecue dish, including ribs, burgers, red meats, and poultry. It is smoked using a slow process, allowing the salt to absorb the maximum flavor without becoming bitter. No liquid smoke or artificial flavors added.
